University of Nottingham China International UG scholarship 2023

University of Nottingham is now awarding a number of scholarships to international students under its University of Nottingham International UG scholarship scheme for the 2023/2024 academic session. This program is eligible to Undergraduate students.

The scholarship program is open to Undergraduate students who have financial difficulties in achieving a degree program in the country. The scholarship scheme is a partially funded opportunity that offers Up to 100% Fee Waiver to qualified candidates. This program is sponsored by University of Nottingham, China and is to be taken at University of Nottingham, China. Nottingham Global Full scholarship, for instance, is worth 110,000 RMB per student, equivalent of 100% toward the first year of undergraduate tuition fees.

The University of Nottingham Ningbo China, also known as the University of Nottingham – Ningbo, is a sino-foreign cooperative university located in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. The institution awards University of Nottingham degrees to its students. As an independent legal entity, UNNC is jointly owned by the Zhejiang-based Wanli Education Group and the UK-based University of Nottingham. Although the Chinese Ministry of Education (MoE) stipulates that UNNC should not operate as a satellite campus of the University of Nottingham in the UK, it is effectively regarded as such by the parent institution. The university offers a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, primarily in the fields of arts and humanities, social sciences, science, and engineering. The curriculum is delivered in English and adheres to a British-style education system, closely mirroring that of the University of Nottingham in the UK. It was established in the year 2004.

Eligible students are to receive one entry-based Nottingham scholarship award and one progression-based award during their academic study at UNNC. Should students be considered for two awards, the highest award will be granted by default.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for University of Nottingham China International UG scholarship 2023:

Applicants of any nationality are eligible to apply.
You must be an overseas applicant who has submitted the application.
Merit-based selection based on outstanding academic achievement having achieved the minimum requirements of AAA in A-level; IB 36 points or equivalent for Qualifying year entry; or AAAAA in iGCSE or equivalent for Primary year entry, as determined at the time of admission.

Nottingham Global Full scholarship is worth 110,000 RMB per student, equivalent of 100% toward the first year of undergraduate tuition fees. This scholarship is an entrance scholarship only.
The fees will be waived from students’ first year’s tuition fees or will be refunded to students if the full tuition fee is already paid.

Application Procedures for the 2023/2024 University of Nottingham China International UG scholarship (how to apply):

A separate application for the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship is required. In order to complete the Nottingham Global Full Scholarship application, a completed scholarship application form needs submitting via online application system by the designated deadline (for early applicants, please attach the form in the ‘other documents’ under section 6 in the system).

In addition, due to the nature of competition, applicants will be automatically considered for the next eligible scholarships available should they miss the first round of selection until the quota is filled.
