The Killam Doctoral Scholarships are annual financial awards that are granted to approximately 25 highly qualified Ph.D. students at five universities across Canada, including the University of British Columbia. The scholarships are to be used for financing higher education and postgraduate studies in Canada. The affiliated fellowships competition identifies the best doctoral students irrespective of the discipline that they are studying to be awarded these fellowships each year.
