We are pleased to inform the public that the Nigeria LNG Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) application is on for 2024. This program is available for qualifying and enthusiastic students who want to acquire industrial skills and experience in their chosen degree program.
SIWES presents undergraduate students from Nigerian universities and polytechnics with the unique opportunity to interact with the international standards work environment and interact with some of the most experienced and qualified professionals in the Nigerian and global LNG industries.

Requirements and eligibility criteria Nigeria LNG Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) 2024
- Applicants must be Nigerian students
- Students studying for diploma and degree certificates in Nigerian universities (public or private), national diploma students from polytechnics
- Applicants who have completed their first year, and post-ND polytechnic graduates seeking openings for their one-year industrial training.

Application Procedures for Nigeria LNG Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) 2024 (How to apply);
To apply for the Nigeria LNG Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), follow these steps:
- Click on “Register For SIWES” to start the registration process.
- Fill in all required information (marked with red asterisks).
- Choose a username and password (make sure to save it securely). Your password must include at least one uppercase letter and one number.
- Read the privacy statement and click “Register.”
- Complete the application wizard by filling in all required information.
- Use the date icon to select your date of birth. Click “next step” to proceed.
- Select your geopolitical zone and LGA using the double square. The state of origin will be automatically selected. Click the square next to the geopolitical zone, highlight the state in yellow, and select “ok.”
- For Education/Training, click “add” to enter your educational details. Include your institution, and start date, and select the current date as the end date. Choose the country, state, and town of your school. Click the “Grade” link and select N/A. Click “Ok” when done.
- Click “next step” to go to “attachments.” Click “add” to upload the required documents:
- SIWES Letter from your school
- Passport photograph
- School fees receipt
- School ID card
- For each document, provide the title, select the attachment type (e.g., Passport photo), choose English as the language, and click “browse” to locate your document. Click “Transfer” to attach it.
- Click “Next step” to go to “Complete application.” Check the box to release your profile and click “Send application now.”
