Recipients of these awards will have the opportunity to renew them for up to two or four years of study, depending on their admittance status. Selection for these scholarships is based on the information provided in both the scholarship application and the undergraduate admissions application.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for LSA International Student Scholarships 2024/2025 at University of Michigan:
- Applicants must be international students.
- Applicants must be incoming first-year or transfer undergraduate students admitted to a degree program in the College of LSA. Consideration will be given even if they have not yet enrolled.
- Applicants must not be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Applicants must be enrolled (or intend to enroll) full-time (12 credit hours or more) each term.

The application process for the University of Michigan International Student Scholarships involves four steps:
- Verify your Friend Account in Wolverine Access. If you don’t have one, you can create it. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it here.
- After verifying your Friend Account, log into the LSA Scholarships application portal using your Friend Account ID and password.
- Complete the general application. When prompted, select the “International Student Scholarship” option.
- Once you’ve submitted the general application, proceed to complete the application specifically for the International Student Scholarship program. Submit this application for full consideration.
