Ohio State University is providing Huntington International Fellowships to high-achieving candidates for the academic session 2024-2025. This scholarship is offered each spring semester.
The Huntington International Fellowship offers undergraduate students the opportunity to enhance their language fluency, cultural understanding, and knowledge of international commerce which supports their interest in international business and world language.

Requirements and eligibility criteria Huntington International Fellowships 2024 at Ohio State University
- Must be a US citizen
- Any subject offered by the university, with a focus on humanities, international business, and world languages.
- Be sophomores or juniors at The Ohio State University at the time of application.
- Plan to travel by August 31st of the following calendar year.
- Have completed a minimum of two years (three semesters) of OSU world language study or its equivalent before the study abroad experience.
- Demonstrate a serious interest in, commitment to, and involvement in business, commerce, or industry.
- Study at Ohio State for at least one semester after the award trip completion.

Application Requirements:
- A letter of application addressed to “Huntington International Fellows, c/o Center for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, The Ohio State University” including a statement of purpose and description of the proposed program.
- A detailed budget sheet.
- Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a language professor).
- Personal interviews are required for finalists.
Program Coordination:
- Managed by the OSU Center for Languages, Literatures, and Cultures.
- Collaboration with The Huntington National Bank, OSU world language departments, and the OSU Office of International Affairs.
- Applicants must identify programs in the target country that offer linguistic and academic advancement, as well as work or internship opportunities in a commercial business environment.
- Courses and internships must be conducted in the target language.
- Preference is given to students at an advanced language level.
