Requirements and eligibility Criteria Fellowship for Professionals 2024 at Harvard Radcliffe Institute

  • Awards 50 fellowships annually.
  • Applicants can apply individually or in groups of two to three working on the same project.
  • Aims for diversity across disciplines, career stages, race and ethnicity, country of origin, gender and sexual orientation, and ideological perspective.

Benefits:

  • Stipend: $78,000 plus an additional $5,000 for project expenses.
  • Funds for relocation, housing, and childcare.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be scholars, artists, or practitioners proposing innovative work addressing social and policy issues, with the intent to engage broader audiences.
  • Must have earned a doctorate or appropriate terminal degree in their field at least two years before the fellowship appointment.
  • Demonstrated track record of independent research and writing.

Specific Requirements by Discipline:

  • Humanities and social sciences applicants: Must have published a monograph or at least two articles in refereed journals.
  • Science, engineering, and mathematics applicants: Must have published at least five articles in refereed journals.
