Australian Government Earmarked Scholarships 2024
Application is ongoing for suitably qualified students who wish to enroll in the highly prestigious university in Australia are encouraged to apply for the Australian Government Earmarked Scholarships 2024/2025 academic session at the University of Queensland.
The Australian Government and the University of Queensland are in collaboration to fund selected PhD students for the Earmarked Scholarships 2024. The scholarship covers living costs and tuition fees.

Requirements and eligibility criteria Australian Government Earmarked Scholarships 2024
- Must have completed some research experience.
- Must have completed an approved university degree.
- Must meet the English language requirements.
- Approved degrees must be in an area relevant to the proposed PhD project.
- Approved degrees must have been completed no more than 10 years ago.
Approved Degrees:
- An approved degree must be one of the following:
- Master of Philosophy (or another research master’s degree)
- Bachelor’s degree from an approved university with at least honors class IIA or equivalent
Coursework master’s degree with an overall grade point average of 5.65 on the 7-point UQ scale, including relevant research experience approved by the dean - Postgraduate degree (at least one year full-time or equivalent) with an overall grade point average of 5 on the 7-point UQ scale, and demonstrated research experience equivalent to honors class IIA (considered case-by-case)
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 2 years of relevant research experience, including research publications
