The University of Manitoba is pleased to announce its ongoing Work-Study Program 2024 in Canada for suitably qualified applicants who are not financially stable to pursue a degree program in the institution.
The Work-Study program offers part-time, on-campus employment for undergraduate and postgraduate students with financial needs during the school year.

Requirements and eligibility criteria University of Manitoba Work-Study Program 2024 in Canada
- Proof of a 2024-2025 government student aid package of at least $2,000, or proof of 2024-2025 Indigenous band sponsorship, Metis Nation post-secondary funding, or disability funding.
- Note: Past government aid, personal bank loans, and registered educational savings plans are not considered.

Registered as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Manitoba for both Fall 2024 and Winter 2025 terms. - Minimum 60% course load (9 credit hours per term for undergraduates).
Graduate students should contact us to determine eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
Achieved a satisfactory academic standing with a minimum 2.0 institutional GPA in the previous academic session (not applicable for new UM students). - Residing in Manitoba throughout the Work-Study employment term.

To apply for the University of Manitoba Work-Study Program, follow these steps:
- Steps to Apply:
- Complete the Work-Study intake process.
- Attend a group orientation session.
- Apply for Work-Study positions.
- All students must re-apply each year due to financial aid requirements.
- Register or log in to your existing UMConnect account.
- Navigate to the Work-Study section and select “Work-Study Program Application.”
- Complete and submit the application form for pre-approved Work-Study access.
- After submitting, click the “Accept” button under “Action required by you” to view and apply to job postings.
- Attach documents demonstrating eligibility, such as:
- Copy of your 2024-2025 financial aid assistance
- Indigenous band sponsorship
- Disability funding
