Non-local Student Scholarships 2023 at Lingnan University
Lingnan University is pleased to announce and invite intelligent international candidates who intend to pursue their Undergraduate degree in Hong Kong to participate in the ongoing Non-local Student Scholarships for the 2023/2024 academic session.
This scholarship is a fully funded opportunity covering tuition, hostel & living expenses given to international Undergraduate candidates. Each Scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is tenable for a period of up to the normative duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance. This program is hosted by Lingnan University, Hong Kong and sponsored by UGC-funded (Government-funded).
Lingnan University, formerly called Lingnan College, is a public liberal arts university in Hong Kong. It aims to provide students with an education in the liberal arts tradition and has joined the Global Liberal Arts Alliance since 2012. Lingnan University became the first university in Hong Kong to accomplish the goal of providing rich hostel experience for all undergraduates and currently, 80% Lingnan students are able to go on exchange for a term during their undergraduate study.

Lingnan University offers various scholarships to support high-caliber non-local students to pursue full-time UGC-funded (Government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University. Successful applicants will be awarded one of the following scholarships:
- Full Scholarship (covering tuition, hostel and partial academic and living expenses)
- Half Scholarship
- Full-tuition Scholarship
- Half-tuition Scholarship
The Scholarship will be awarded subject to availability, successful applicants in Early Round will be notified from January. As such, applicants are encouraged to make their applications as early as possible.
Applicants for self-financed undergraduate programs are not eligible for scholarships.

Application Procedures for the 2023/2024 Non-local Student Scholarships (how to apply):
Please use the online admission system to submit your application for admission to undergraduate programs that are financed by the UGC (Government) by setting up only one application account. Please choose “Self-financed Programs” under “Application Type”.
The number of programs applicants may choose from when applying for admission to self-financed undergraduate programs is unrestricted. One application account may be used to submit applications for both undergraduate programs that are funded by the UGC and those that are self-funded.
