Schwarzman Scholars Program 2023 for International Masters Students
The Schwarzman Scholars Program for International Masters Students 2023/2024 for prospective students are now fully open for applications and is designed to support Masters candidates who wish to continue their educational pursuit in the China.
This scholarship scheme is a fully funded opportunity that covers general expenses for qualified international Master candidates. Schwarzman Scholars are selected from an international pool of distinguished candidates. Prospective Scholars are expected to demonstrate academic excellence, exceptional results in their field and outstanding leadership qualities. This program is hosted by Schwarzman Scholars and sponsored by Schwarzman Scholars, China.
Schwarzman Scholars, founded by American financier and philanthropist Stephen A. Schwarzman, is a one-year fully-funded master’s degree leadership program at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. The program selects 100 – 200 Scholars per year based on their leadership ability, academic achievement, and commitment to advancing mutual cultural understanding and global progress. Selected scholars pursue a one-year master’s degree in Global Affairs at Tsinghua University, residing at Schwarzman College. It was founded in the year 2016.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for Schwarzman Scholars Program for International Masters Students 2023:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must have an undergraduate degree or currently enrolled in undergraduate degree programs must be on track to successfully complete all degree requirements before August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year
- Must be 18-28 years of age: Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year (for the Class of 2024-2025, as of August 1, 2024)
- Applicants must be proficient in the English language.
Application Procedures for the 2023/2024 Schwarzman Scholars Program for International Masters Students (how to apply):
The application must be completed online and submitted electronically once you have answered all the required questions. The application form must be completed in English. You do not have to complete the online application in one sitting; you may access, save, and continue work on your application as frequently as needed before submitting the application.
