Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Postgraduate Scholarships 2024;

Must be an international student.
Must enroll in a full-time postgraduate degree program.
Must have the necessary artistic qualifications and artistic maturity, demonstrated through study achievements and work samples.
The project quality will be assessed based on the study plan, letter of motivation, and factors like project justification, feasibility, preparation, and relevance to the applicant’s artistic career.

Language Preparation

Benefits:

Payment for an online language course after receiving the Scholarship Award Letter.
Option for a German language course (2, 4, or 6 months) before starting the study visit in Germany, depending on language skills and project needs.
Allowance for a German language course during the scholarship period.
Reimbursement of fees for the TestDaF or DSH test, taken either in the home country or in Germany during the funding period.

Step 1: Submit Application Documents

Prepare and submit your application documents through the DAAD portal. This portal is accessible only during the active application period. After the deadline, the portal will close until the next cycle.

Step 2: Submit Work Samples

Submit your work samples as required. Ensure they meet the guidelines specified by DAAD.
You may upload non-certified scanned copies of certificates, proof of credits, and translations.
DAAD may request certified copies later if needed.
