DAAD In- Country/In-Region Scholarships Program 2024
DAAD now opens its applications for the 2024/25 In-Country/In-Region Scholarships to be offered in Africa for master’s or Ph.D. programs. This scholarship aims to raise the level of international orientation within Sub-Saharan African higher education systems to a level that could contribute to sustainable development.
These Scholarship programs are provided for advanced study of the development field for individuals willing to contribute to higher education teaching and research in Sub-Saharan African areas by taking a Master’s or PhD Degree.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarships Program 2024:
- Applicant must be a citizen of a Sub-Saharan African country.
- Applicant must hold a relevant first academic degree for a Master’s program or a Master’s degree for a doctoral program.
- Applicant must demonstrate excellent academic and leadership abilities.
- Applicants must be willing to abide by the guidelines governing the conduct of students awarded a DAAD scholarship.
