Commonwealth Foundation 2025 Grants for Civil Society Organisations

Suitably qualified civil society organizations across the Commonwealth are invited to apply for the Commonwealth Foundation 2025 Grants. These grants, providing funding up to £30,000 for up to two years schemes, have the objective of supporting non-violent interactions between civil society and key decision makers at the policymaking stage and in the policy-execution arena.

To be considered, projects must address one or more of the priority themes: Health Justice, Freedom of Expression Climate Justice, etc. More specifically, applications must specifically indicate how they would address gender in the project activities. This is a good chance to open meaningful activity and implement some changes together with a great renowned organization.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;

The applicant must be a not-for-profit civil society organization (CSO) registered in an eligible Commonwealth Foundation Member State.
The organization must have at least three years of experience in participatory governance and advocacy. Organizations with less than three years of operation are not eligible.
The project must promote change through constructive engagement between civil society and decision-makers, focusing on civil society participation in policy development and decision-making.
Proposals must be for projects starting between 1 August 2025 and the end of September 2025.
Applicants must be from eligible countries in Africa, America, Asia, Europe, or the Pacific.
