International Excellence Entrance Scholarship 2023 at University of the Fraser Valley

Applications for the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship for the academic year 2023/2024 are now being accepted by the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV). This program is open to those who have earned their undergraduate degrees.

This scholarship is a partially funded opportunity that offers CAD $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four years) to qualified international undergraduates students. This program is hosted and sponsored by University of the Fraser Valley, Canada. Each year, the UFV Entrance Scholarship welcomes more than 700 new students from more than 70 countries around the world.

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), formerly known as University College of the Fraser Valley and Fraser Valley College, is a Canadian public university with campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission and Hope, British Columbia. Founded in 1974 as Fraser Valley College, it was a response to the need for expanded vocational training in the communities of the Fraser Valley. In 1988, it became a university college, with degree-granting status. As the University College of the Fraser Valley, it grew rapidly, becoming one of the largest university colleges in Canada. In recognition of the growing needs for higher education within the region and in the province, the provincial government granted full university status on 21 April 2008. Student enrolment is now over 15,000 students annually.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for International Excellence Entrance Scholarship 2023:

You apply to study at UFV.
You are in your graduating year or have recently graduated
Have a minimum overall CGPA (cumulative GPA) of 3.75 on all approved grade 12 courses
Apply to a degree program
Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for each of your previous years at UFV to maintain the scholarship

Note: Short-term visiting and exchange students are not eligible for entrance scholarships.
