World Bank ICSID Internship Program 2024
The World Bank in collaboration with the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Dispute (ICSID) offers internship programs to suitably qualified motivated students who enrolled in a graduate degree program.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the world’s leading institution devoted to settling international investment disputes. The internship program provides students with an interest in international investment dispute settlement and international investment law with an in-depth understanding of ICSID’s work.

Requirements and eligibility criteria World Bank ICSID Internship Program 2024
- Enrolled in a graduate program.
- Must provide written confirmation that they will either:
- Obtain academic credit for at least one term/semester in a course of study; or
- Receive a stipend from their university for the duration of the internship.
- Demonstrated interest and knowledge in investor-state dispute settlement and international investment law.
- Rising 3L, LLM, or Ph.D. student.
- Fluency in English, with a preference for proficiency in French or Spanish.
- Ability to research various issues related to arbitration and investment law.
- Strong writing and legal drafting skills.
- Must meet university internship requirements before applying.

To apply, interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should fill out the internship application form and attach their CV. Applications must be submitted via email.
