US-MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Scholarship Program 2025
Applications are ongoing for the 2025/2026 US-MEPI Tomorrow’s Leaders Program. If you’re an eligible and motivated student, this is your chance to apply for a fully funded scholarship to study at the American University of Cairo, Beirut, or Lebanon.
The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), the program provides scholarships to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students from undeserved backgrounds across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). This opportunity is available for people who want to bring a change and is a true representation of the actual cultural and geographical makeup of the region.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;
Undergraduate Applicants
- Must be current high school seniors or 2024 graduates.
- Graduates from Iraq, Libya, Syria, West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen (2023) are also eligible.
- Maintain high academic achievement and pass leaving exams (for current seniors).
- Proficient in English (minimum TOEFL iBT score of 80 within two years of admission date).
- Demonstrate financial need with supporting documents.
- Ready to travel and begin the undergraduate program in August 2025.
- Strong academic credentials, maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
For Graduate Applicants:
- Show evidence of academic English proficiency as required by the graduate program.
- Commit to completing a master’s degree within two academic years.
- Meet the admission requirements of the host university.
- Demonstrate financial need with supporting documentation.
- Able to travel and start their program in August 2025.
- Display strong academic credentials, maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
