Applications are currently invited from interested international students to apply for University of Edinburgh Business School Dean Excellence Scholarship, commencing program for 2023/2024 academic session. This program is eligible to Master candidates.

This scholarship is a partially funded opportunity that offers £10,000 to qualified international Master candidates. The University of Edinburgh Business School is offering a number of scholarships covering part of the fees for Masters students commencing study in September 2023. The Dean’s Excellence Scholarship Program is based on merit and available to all applicants of Business School taught Masters. The University of Edinburgh Business School (known as the University of Edinburgh Management School until 2008;[1] abbreviated as UEBS) is the business school of the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. The university has offered business education since 1918, and the MBA degree since 1980. The business school is tied to the University of Edinburgh, which received its royal charter in 1582. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) was first offered in 1980, followed by the Part-time MBA in 1984. Since then, over 3,500 students from a wide variety of backgrounds, nationalities and business specialisms have completed these programs. The first Master of Science (MSc) was launched in 1996.

You can only apply for the scholarship once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programs and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so.

The scholarship selection panel can only consider your application if you hold an active offer throughout your scholarship application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the scholarship decision deadline you will no longer be eligible). You can apply to the scholarship only once within one recruitment cycle.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for Business School Dean Excellence Scholarship 2023:

The scholarships are available for all taught Masters and all nationalities.
Can demonstrate strong academic performance – on track to obtain or have graduated with a minimum of a high 2.1 or 1st class UK undergraduate degree or overseas equivalent from a university with a strong academic reputation and ranking
Applicants must have the potential to contribute and enrich all aspects of the Masters program and the diverse academic and cultural profile of the Masters class
Show excellent professional and personal skills evidenced through work experience and/or extracurricular activities.
