This Funded scholarship is an opportunity awarded to qualified international Masters and PhD students. This program is sponsored by Eastern Mediterranean University and is to be taken at Eastern Mediterranean University, Turkey. Students who will enroll in their programs for the first time during the applicable semester may apply for scholarship possibilities each academic semester. Applications are submitted online throughout the program application process. International students can apply for 100% and 50% scholarships for PhD programs and 50 % scholarship in Master’s programs.
The Eastern Mediterranean University is a public university in Northern Cyprus. It was established in 1979 under the leadership of Onay Fadıl Demirciler (then Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education) as a higher-education institution of technology for Turkish Cypriots. In 1986, it was converted to a state university. The campus is located within the city of Famagusta. Faculty of Arts and Sciences’ main entrance. The university has 141 programs (11 Faculties and 5 Schools) offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, as well as a research infrastructure. The languages of instructions are Turkish and English. However, an English Preparatory School is available for students who need to improve their English

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for Eastern Mediterranean University Masters And PhD Scholarships 2024:
In order to apply for these scholarships, applicants must follow the given criteria
- The minimum requirement to be considered for 100% scholarship is 3.00 (out of 4.00) or higher undergraduate graduation CGPA.
- The minimum requirement to be considered for 50% scholarship is 2.75 (out of 4.00) or higher undergraduate graduation CGPA.
The departments will rank the applicants based on their departmental assessment criteria (not only CGPA). The department may grant 100% scholarship to one applicant and up to two 50% scholarships to two applicants
