Applications are ongoing for the University of Saskatchewan Graduate Scholarships 2024/25. These scholarships are provided to students (continued) whose plan is to pursue a master’s or doctoral degree at the university and these scholarships are only for International students.

It is very competitively offered to Masters and PhD students who excel in their academic programs. To qualify, applicants must have at least an 80% average, whether they are current students or applying for the first time.

Requirements and eligibility criteria;

  • Must be admitted into a full-time Master’s or PhD program at the University of Saskatchewan.
  • Must be registered in or recommended for admission to a graduate program in the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies.
  • Must have a minimum 80% average as a continuing student or as a prospective student.
  • GPA is calculated based on whole terms with a minimum of 60 credit units, excluding courses with grades like Pass or Credit.
  • Master’s students can receive the scholarship for up to two years within the first three years of their program, but not beyond 36 months.
  • PhD students can receive the scholarship for up to three years within the first four years of their program, but not beyond 48 months.
  • Must hold an offer for a full-time program at the University of Saskatchewan.
  • Must meet the university’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Fill out the General Awards Application online. Provide photocopies of official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended.
