Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships 2023
Cape Breton University is presently accepting applications from qualified overseas applicants for their entrance scholarships for undergraduate students who desire to enroll in a degree program at the university for the 2023/2024 academic session.
This Partial funding scholarship is an opportunity that offers Up to $30,000 to qualified international Undergraduate candidates. The scholarships are applicable to and awarded to undergraduate students with outstanding academic performance and/or students who are obviously in financial need. This program is hosted and sponsored by Cape Breton University, Canada.
Cape Breton University is a public, co-ed, primarily undergraduate university located in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is the only post-secondary degree-granting institution within the Cape Breton Regional Municipality and on Cape Breton Island. The university is enabled by the Cape Breton University Act passed by the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. Prior to this, CBU was enabled by the University College of Cape Breton Act (amended). The University College of Cape Breton’s Coat of Arms were registered with the Canadian Heraldic Authority on May 27, 1995. CBU is an ordinary (full) member of Universities Canada (UC), the Association of Atlantic Universities (AAU), the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE), and Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan).

Through the efforts of donors, $2.5 million in scholarships and bursaries are offered to students entering CBU each year. Students entering direct from high school or through articulation agreement partners are considered for entrance scholarships based on their academic grades

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships 2023:
- Applicants must be classified as a domestic or international students.
- If an Articulation agreement student, must be currently enrolled in their program of transfer.
- Must demonstrate an excellent academic performance and high achievements at previous study level(s).
- Minimum 80% average as determined by CBU to be eligible with no failures.
- Average for international students entering directly from high school will be determined by Cape Breton University.
- ESL conditional offers must attend a CBU English language partner school to have award honored.

Application Procedures for the 2023/2024 Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships (how to apply):
Candidates for the Cape Breton University Entrance Scholarships in Canada must already have received a conditional offer of admission to the university’s degree program.
The following documents must be submitted in addition to an admission application by all incoming students who want to be considered for entry scholarships.
