Applications are currently invited from interested African students to apply for Wageningen University Africa Scholarship Program, commencing program for 2024/2025 academic session. This program is eligible to masters candidates.

This scholarship is an opportunity awarded to qualified African masters candidates. This program is sponsored by Wageningen University & Research and hosted by Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands. The Africa Scholarship Program (ASP) has been initiated by Wageningen University & Research to give talented and motivated students from Africa the opportunity to study in Wageningen. With this program, Wageningen wants to support capacity building in Africa by attracting excellent students for a 2-years master’s program.

Wageningen University & Research (also known as Wageningen UR; abbreviation: WUR) is a public research university in Wageningen, Netherlands, specializing in life sciences with a focus on agriculture, technical and engineering subjects. It is a globally important center for life sciences and agricultural research. It is located in a region of the Netherlands known as the Food Valley. WUR consists of Wageningen University and the former agricultural research institutes of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture. Wageningen University, as a research university, grants degrees at the BSc, MSc and PhD level in life and social sciences. It focuses its research on scientific, social and commercial problems in the field of life sciences and natural resources. It is widely known for its agriculture, forestry, and environmental studies programs. The university has about 12,000 students from over 100 countries. Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for Wageningen University Africa Scholarship Program 2024:

Be excellent students with a GPA of 80 percent or higher in a bachelor degree,
Apply and be admitted to a Wageningen University MSc Program. First check if you meet the admission requirements of the school
Apart from the admission requirements, only excellent candidates, who can prove that they are among the best 5% of their study cohort, will be selected.
