The Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) Program was established through a partnership between the Government of Japan and the African Development Bank (AfDB) to address the need for skilled professionals in Africa and strengthen ties between Japan and African countries. Requirements and eligibility criteria for Japan Africa Dream Scholarship (JADS) Program 2024/25:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in energy, agriculture, health, environmental sustainability, engineering studies, or related areas.
• At least 1 year of paid employment in the home country or other African countries after receiving a Bachelor’s degree within the past 3 years.
