International Student Excellence Awards 2023 at Óbuda University
The Óbuda University wishes to announce the commencement of the 2023/2024 International Student Excellence Awards for international students. This program is eligible to Undergraduate and Masters students.
This scholarship program is partially funded and an award of HUF 60,000 is given to qualified international Undergraduate and Masters students. This scholarship is sponsored and hosted by Óbuda University, Hungary. The purpose of the application is for the university to honor the work of students who achieve outstanding results in their studies, academic, sports, and cultural activities, and who take an active role in student community activities, volunteer programs, and the internationalization of the university, and to encourage them to achieve these goals.
The Óbuda University, named after Óbuda, a part of Budapest, is a technical university in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 2000 as Budapest Tech with the merging of three poly technical institutes. With more than 15,000 students it is one of the largest technical universities in the country. Having complied with the requirements, the institution was promoted to university status on 1 January 2010 under the name of Óbuda University.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for International Student Excellence Awards 2023:
- Applicants have to enroll in the degree program at the university.
- Applicants must have a previous education certificate with relevant marks.
- Applicants must have to submit TOEFL, IELTS and other test results to demonstrate their proficiency in English.

Application Procedures for the 2023/2024 International Student Excellence Awards (how to apply):
The application documentation, which includes the application form, its annexes (1-2) and documents authentically certifying outstanding achievements, can be submitted to the International Education Office (Budapest Bécsi út 94-96 fsz. 35.) between 10-20 July 2023, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or sent by post to the same address in a sealed envelope, with the applicant’s name, Neptun code, and training indicated on the envelope.
