Changemakers for the Planet Programme 2025
If you’re a Changemaker between 18 and 35 and making a real impact in Sub-Saharan Africa, there’s an incredible opportunity you shouldn’t miss! The Changemaker Xchange program is now accepting applications for its 2025 summit, set to take place in Nigeria from April 7th to 11th.
Even if you are leading or co-leading a social or environmental venture addressing the planetary crisis, this is your chance to connect, learn, and grow with fellow innovators.
The application form is available in English and French, so it’s easy to access. If selected, you’ll attend an in-person summit, participate in skill-building sessions, and join a global network of over 1,000 changemakers from 130 countries. Plus, collaborative funding is available to support joint projects among participants.

- Age: 18-35 years old.

Program Timeline:
- Kick-Off Call: January 27, 2025 – A 2-hour online introduction for participants from Sub-Saharan Africa, the USA, and Canada.
- Public Announcement of Participants: Early February 2025.
- Needs Assessment and Customized Support: April to December 2025.
In-Person Summit:
- USA & Canada: April 5-9, 2025
- Sub-Saharan Africa: April 7-11, 2025
- Collaboration Fund Timeline: April 2025 – February 2026 (from application to reporting).
- Closing Ceremony: November 18, 2025 – A 2-hour online call to officially conclude the program.
- Lifetime Network Participation: Ongoing engagement with the ChangemakerXchange global network following program completion.
