EGU Science Journalism Fellowship 2024

Application for EGU Science Journalism Fellowship 2024 is open If you wish to get acquainted with the most innovative and groundbreaking research on geoscientific studies from Europe.

These fully funded fellowships are the opportunity to be the first to share with the public the discovery that has not yet made its way to the major news sources. The selected fellows will be directed by scientists to discover some unknown facts about the Earth, planets, and space.

The former fellows of this fun program discovered things like exoplanets, seabed quakes, and Antarctic meltdowns. This year might be the year of your climate crisis stories, your space technology leaks, your trip to a volcano. If selected, you will get up to €5000 and the support of editors as you travel across continents, climb a research platform, and gain access to a control room to capture the specifics and tell stories with incredible suspense.
