Eiffel Scholarships 2024 Application
International students are encouraged to submit applications for Eiffel Scholarships for the session starting in 2024/2025. Applicants to this program might be either Master‘s or PhD candidates.
This Fully-Funded scholarship is an opportunity awarded to qualified international Masters and PhD candidates. This program is sponsored by French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and hosted by French Institutions. The Eiffel Scholarships also provides internship opportunities for students to acquire professional competence and put to use skills and knowledge gained from their academic training in order to obtain a degree or certification. Interns are given one or more assignments related to their study program as defined by their academic program and approved by the host organization. Students wishing to complete an internship must request and obtain an internship agreement from their academic institution.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs is the ministry of the Government of France that handles France’s foreign relations. Since 1855, its headquarters have been located at 37 Quai d’Orsay, close to the National Assembly. The term Quai d’Orsay is often used as a metonym for the ministry. Its cabinet minister, the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs (French: Ministre de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères) is responsible for the foreign relations of France.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for Eiffel Scholarships 2024 Application:
- Must have obtained relevant certificates from institutions of higher learning.
- Demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
- Be up to 25 years old from developing countries at master’s level, and
- Be up to 30 years old from developing and industrialized countries at PhD level.
Scholarship Benefits
- Tuition fees are not covered by the Eiffel Program. Educational institutions are expected to provide students the best financial support.
- Students admitted to public educational institutions are, as French government scholarship holders, exempted from enrolment fees.
- Master’s level : The Eiffel scholarship consist of a monthly allowance of €1,181 (a maintenance allowance of €1,031 and a monthly stipend of €150). In addition, the program covers various benefits including a round-trip international ticket, Health insurance and cultural activities.
- PhD level : The Eiffel scholarship includes a monthly allowance of €1,400. In addition, the program covers various benefits including a round-trip international ticket, Health insurance and cultural activities.
- Students may also benefit from a housing allowance.

Application Procedures for the 2024/2025 Eiffel Scholarships Application (how to apply):
Interested applicants are required to apply through a French higher education institution through a number of stipulated steps.
Step 1
Contact the Campus France office in your country of origin or the Cooperation and Culture Office of the French Embassy; both can advise you about your study plans. Contact the French educational institution or research organization by visiting its website or by emailing or telephoning its office of international relations to learn how to apply for admission (including the date by which your application must be received). Inform them of your wish to be considered for an Eiffel scholarship. It is your responsibility to choose the school or university that best suits your plans to study or conduct research in France. All French institutions of higher education can nominate candidates for Eiffel scholarships.
Step 2
The educational institution accepts and supports your application for the Eiffel scholarship. The institution files your application online using Campus France’s dedicated website. Applications submitted directly by students or by institutions outside France will not be accepted.
