2024 UNFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme
The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) is all set to invite suitable and qualified candidates who are Ghanaian nationals. These candidates should be highly motivated applicants for our 2024 UNFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme open to all the youths from Ghana.
The YoLe Fellowship is a one-year program whose principal goal is to make the youths of Ghana such innovative and transformational leaders. The NFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) fellowship is a capacity-building enabler for the youth as it promotes pieces of training and a series of workshops on leadership at different institutions of the UN system among others.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for the 2024 UNFPA Youth Leaders (YoLe) Fellowship Programme:
- Only those applicants applying for the posts should be within the age brackets of 18 to 30 years.
- The only way that an applicant can qualify is if the person has completed tertiary education in Ghana.
- Accordingly, we ask applicants to declare their intention to serve a one-year on-site Fellowship at the UNFPA Ghana Country Office located in Accra.
- Students are required to be in the initiative positions and demonstrate the professional experience making it possible.
- Pupils must demonstrate English proficiency (e.g. know English) if they would successfully participate in the program’s educational content and general communication purposes. (All Applications are officially supposed to be mailed in English only).
- Applicants must be passionate about Leadership, SRHR, and Social Entrepreneurship which includes agribusiness, innovation, and artificial intelligence (AI), and demonstrate a desire to make a difference in their community.
- Additionally, elucidate your personal experience and devotion to the very core of UNFPA mandate exemplified either in the volunteering experience, working experience and affiliation to the youth development networks/civil society in the areas of interest to UNFPA. The lack of these may be supplemented by your passion and determination to contribute towards Ghana’s hope for Agenda 2030 implementation.
