Requirements and eligibility criteria for Megatrends Afrika Fellowships 2024 in Germany:

Applicants must be post-doctoral researchers from African countries working on Africa-related issues.
Research proposals submitted by applicants must align with the specified topics of interest, including conflicts and armed violence, demographic change or gender issues, democratization, Africa’s international relations, regional integration, and the nexus between domestic politics and foreign policy.
Fellows must be available for a period of two to three months between May 2nd and November 30th, 2024, on a full-time basis.
Fellows must reside in the city of their host institution during the fellowship, which may include Berlin (SWP), Bonn (IDOS), or Kiel (IfW).
