ITU Artificial Intelligence Google DeepMind Scholarship 2024

Istanbul Technical University are pleased to welcome suitably qualified international students who wish to further their academic pursuit under Artificial intelligent to submit application for the ongoing Google DeepMind scholarship program for 2024 academic session.

Within the framework of the grant scheme for women with AI, several scholarships for female graduate ITU Masters students with a focus on AI will be provided. They will also be able to be matched with researchers from Google DeepMind for individual coaching to further their careers in the AI space.

Requirements and eligibility criteria ITU Artificial Intelligence Google DeepMind Scholarship 2024

Applicants must identify as female.
International applications are welcome.
Must be admitted to one of the eligible M.Sc. programs at ITU for the Fall 2024-2025 term.
Applicants must apply to the eligible programs and indicate interest in the scholarship.

Computer Engineering/Computer Science
Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Physics
Control and Automation Engineering
Mathematics
Game and Interaction Technologies
Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering (with a research focus in AI)

Benefits:

Duration: The scholarship covers 4 semesters of the M.Sc. program.
Stipend: Monthly stipend of 1000 USD.
Equipment Grant: One-off grant of 1500 USD for equipment.
Academic Travel Grant: Annual grant of 2250 USD for academic travel.
Mentorship: Each recipient will receive mentorship from a Google DeepMind researcher for personal career development in AI.

CV and academic transcript of the applicant.
Statement of purpose outlining previous research experience in AI and future research objectives for graduate studies.
Up to three reference letters.
Applications missing any of these documents will not be considered.
