The mission of the Colombia Government Postgraduate Scholarship is to create a Higher Education (HE) system through the provision of a crediting system and international assistance scholarships for foreign students without the financial possibility to study in Colombia for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Requirements and eligibility criteria for Government of Colombia Scholarships 2024 for Foreign Students:

Applicants must be foreign citizens who apply to the call for the Colombia Scholarship Program and complete the application correctly.
Applicants must not have Colombian nationality.
Applicants must not be residing, nor have resided in the last 6 months before applying, in Colombian territory or have started studies in Colombia at the time of application.
Applicants must not have any marital or de facto relationship in Colombia.
Applicants must not have been beneficiaries of ICETEX through the Beca Colombia Program.
Applicants must not be older than 50 years.
Applicants must have a cumulative general average of 4.0 out of 5.0 in undergraduate studies.
Applicants must have professional, undergraduate, or graduate degrees in any area of knowledge.
Applicants must have admission to at least one or three postgraduate programs found in the Academic Offer Catalog 2024-2025.
Applicants must have good physical and mental health, certified by a doctor.
